As the name suggests, this furniture collection is a playful interpretation of the marquetry strips typically applied on backgammon games. Traditionally the strips were produced in natural wood tones and assembled into geometric patterns. At Studio Nada Debs we worked with local artisans to breathe a new life into this age-old craft, through the integration of bright colors and the design of new patterns that were later applied on to furniture pieces in unconventional ways.
